SAXAPA'HAWG' FEST

Community Apple Butter Making:

Start: 9:00 AM

Early risers, bring your peeling knives and come ready to help stir! We’ll prepare apples and cook them down all day in a copper pot over an open fire. Many hands make light work! We are asking just $5 per participant to help cover costs. Please get your tickets in advance so we can estimate the appropriate amount of apples.

Participants can pick up their finished jar of apple butter starting Sunday morning.

Live Music:

Start 1:00 PM

Local musicians and bands playing all afternoon and into the evening. Bring a blanket or comfy chair and enjoy the tunes! Artists will be announced soon!

 Food & Potluck

• Lunch/Open Grill: 12:00 PM (Bring a labeled dish to share!)

• Dinner/Open Grill: 7:00 PM (Potluck style—bring a labeled dish!)

• Whole Hog Roast as our customer appreciation contribution to the feast.

Vendors:

• Vendors include Weslin Farms and Maple View Ice Cream, with more to come. If you would like to be considered for a vendor spot please let us know.

Other Activities:

• Yard games , scavenger hunt , lounging hammocks , and more

•  Potluck Lunch/Open Grill: 12:00 PM (Bring a labeled dish to share!)

•  Farm Tour: 5:30 PM

•  Bonfire: Enjoy the warmth and company by the fire.

•  Overnight Camping: Bring your camping gear and stay the night!

    

 What to Bring:

• Blanket or comfy chair

• Closed-toe shoes

• Labeled dish to share  (with serving utensils!)

• Water bottle /beverage of choice

• Cooler for taking home some forest-raised pork!

• Camping gear (if staying overnight)

Admission:

• Early Bird (before Oct. 1): $10

• Regular (after Oct. 1): $15

• At the Door: $20

• Kids under 10: Free

• Camping: $5 (free for members)

• Tips to support the artists are encouraged!

Parking:

• Park where the cool kids are parking. To avoid damage to your car, please stay on the gravel drives, turning around at intersections rather than driving "off-road".
