SAXAPA'HAWG' FEST

Admission:

• Free For Members and Kids under 10

• Early Bird (through Oct. 16): $10

• Regular (starting Oct. 17): $15

• At the Door: $20

• Camping: $5 / vehicle (free for members)

• Apple Butter: $5 / participant

• Tips to support the artists are encouraged!

Activities:

Community Apple Butter Making: 9:00 AM Until its Done (approx. 10 PM)

We’ll prepare apples and cook them down all day in a copper pot over an open fire. Early risers, bring your peeling knives and help us fill the pot. If you arrive later in the day be sure to come ready to help stir! Many hands make light work!

We are asking just $5 per participant to help cover costs. Please get your tickets in advance so we can estimate the appropriate amount of apples.

Participants can pick up a finished jar of apple butter late Saturday night or Sunday morning.

Lunch Picnic/Open Grill: 12:00 PM PYOP Pack you own picnic or or pick up ingredients fresh from our on farm market. 

Farm Tour:  2:00 PM

Live Music: Start 3:00 PM

Local musicians and bands playing into the evening. Bring a blanket or comfy chair and enjoy the tunes!

Dinner/Pig Pickin: 6:00 PM (Potluck style—bring a labeled dish!) We'll provide whole hawg BBQ for all guests (while it lasts)

Other Activities:

• Yard games, scavenger hunt for kids of all ages, lounging hammocks, and more

• Live Printmaking with Hellbender Studio

•  Bonfire: Enjoy the warmth and company by the fire.

•  Overnight Camping: Bring your camping gear and stay the night!

    

 What to Bring:

• Blanket or comfy chair

• Closed-toe shoes

• Labeled dish to share

• Water bottle /beverage of choice

• Cooler for taking home some forest-raised pork!

• Camping gear (if staying overnight)

Parking:

• Park where the cool kids are parking. To avoid damage to your car, please stay on the gravel drives, turning around at intersections rather than driving "off-road".
